Baccarat And L. Boutigny In Paris — Fine Gold-plated Crystal Decanter — Paper Label
Artist: Baccarat Et L. Boutigny Passage Des Princes à Paris
Baccarat crystal wine decanter, a beautiful balloon-shaped model adorned with gold fillets. A fine luxury piece from the 1890–1900 period. It bears the signature of L. Boutigny, Passage des Princes, Paris, on the bottom.
Boutigny was a craftsman and manufacturer of objets d’art, liqueur sets, and luxury cutlery and furniture, established on the Passage des Princes in Paris in the late 19th century. It was one of the luxury boutiques that contributed to Paris’s prestige during the Belle Époque.
Our decanter has retained its very rare original paper label; the model is also listed in the 1907 catalog.
