A set Louis XVI period vermeil travel cutlery under the crown of "marquess" , including a spoon and a fork in their original embossed leather case, gilded withsmall iron motifs and a violone finish, lined with red chamois, made between 1775 and 1785.
This is a net model featuring a double alliance shield on the spoon’s handle: on the left, the husband’s coat of arms—“Gules, a gold chevron accompanied in the chief by two flowering branches and in the base by a lion rampant”—and on the right, the wife’s—“Azure, a gold trefoil cross ”
