Silver And Vermeil Monstrance

19th century silver and vermeil monstrance resting on 4 scratched feet. The sides are symbolized by the Agnus Dei, the Tables of the Law and bunches of grapes.
A columnen graved with water leaves, supports a sheaf of wheat held in place by a bundle. A large disc in the shape of a radiant sun rises from a cloud carved withwinged angels.
In the center,a circular glazed space houses the lunula that holds the consecrated hostin an upright position.
The wholeis surmounted by a cross whose edges are adorned with a fine frieze
Silversmith: Edmond Delebois (1779-1875). His hallmark is inscribed in 1827 and he was active until 1872.
His workshop was located rue du Harlay (Paris).
