Onthe front, a carved and painted relief depicting a mountainous landscape witha bridge and a figure in the center, in a medallion-style motif surrounded bypolychrome floral decoration on either side that enhances the mountainous scene,
Onthe sides also feature floral decoration,
Itopens to reveal two large drawers without crossbars, fitted with gilded bronzehandles adorned with foliage motifs,
Restingon curved legs featuring a cascade of gilded bronze at the top of the uprights,chiseled and featuring foliage motifs, ending in small bronze feet.
Theentire piece is topped by a thick (4 cm) veined marble slab in shades of beige and pink with a corbin-shapededging in a flowing form that follows the curve of this chest of drawers.
