Louis XVI Style Sideboard
Louis XVI style sideboard – 19th century in solid walnut. Opening with four doors, two of which are rounded with domed glass (brass frieze around the shelves) on each side. Middle doors decorated with floral marquetry in native wood. Interior with one shelf. Two drawers in the frieze. It offers a rich decoration of gilded and finely carved wood: garland of flowers on the doors, frieze around the doors, foliage on the drawers, flower cassolette on the uprights on the front. Rests on toupie feet ringed with carved wood. Wooden top. Parisian work from the Faubourg Saint-Antoine.
