Louis XVI-style six-legged walnut table – 18th century

Beautiful Louis XVI-style folding table from the 18th century, crafted from walnut.

It rests on six tapered legs, characteristic of the Louis XVI period, some of which are fitted with small brass casters and glides, making it easy to move and open the table.

Its walnut tabletop features beautiful natural grain and consists of a central section flanked by two large semicircular drop-leaf panels. When closed, the table remains shallow and can easily be placed against a wall. When both extensions are unfolded, the table becomes a large dining table measuring approximately 133 × 130 cm.

A beautiful 18th-century table, both elegant and functional, retaining the charm and signs of wear characteristic of its age.
