An impressive Napoleon III-style three-door sideboard with Boulle marquetry, featuring extensive gilded bronze ornamentation. Neptune-head finials, low finials, multiple ingot moldings, masks on the doors, sides adorned with putti depicting the theme of knowledge, butterfly spandrels, and corner rosettes.
Top in veined white marble from Greece.
This sideboard dates from slightly after the Napoleon III period; it is a high-quality piece crafted in the Faubourg district in the early 20th century.
