A set of 4 living room chairs with medallion-shaped backs made of molded and carved wood in the Louis XVI style.
The chairs stand on four curved, fluted legs decorated with acanthus leaves, adorned with a delicate volute at the top and ending at the base with a pair of small spindle-shaped feet. The seats are joined to the frames by carved connecting squares featuring a rosette flower design.
The chairs feature an ivory-colored lacquer finish, enhanced by olive-green relief carving that highlights the moldings. The backrest is shaped like a rounded medallion resembling a hot-air balloon, edged with a finely carved frieze in the shape of a twisted ribbon.
They are upholstered in royal blue fabric with gold motifs, all in perfect condition.
