A very interesting religious painting on sheet metal depicting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, dating from the late 19th century. The composition, which is particularly decorative, combines the biblical figures with lush vegetation rendered in a rich palette of greens, reds, and golds. The dark background highlights the numerous golden and red highlights, while a symbolic depiction of Christ on the cross appears at the top of the composition.
