Winter Landscape At Sunset By Adolf Gustav Schweitzer (1847–1914)

This winter landscape at sunset was painted by the famous German artist Adolf Gustav Schweitzer (1847, Dessau – 1914, Düsseldorf). He studied at the Düsseldorf Academy under O. Achenbach and E. Duecker; his best works were forest landscapes. Schweitzer’s works are held in the art collection of the city of Düsseldorf, the Provincial Museum in Münster, and Bautzen.
