This console table rests on four curved legs joined by a dynamic X-shaped crossbar; the entire piece is richly carved with shells, foliage, volutes, and acanthus leaves. It is topped with a lovely marble tabletop, molded and scalloped to follow the curves of this console. Very beautiful and rich Rocaille decoration. Very lovely gilding.
