Chinese Canton Porcelain Vase—19th Century

The sides are adorned with panels depicting court scenes and figures dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, surrounded by a decorative border of plant motifs.
The relief decoration is particularly remarkable: the shoulders are adorned with dragons and zoomorphic elements in relief, while the necks feature Fo dogs.
The vase rests on an openwork base of chiseled gilded bronze in the Rococo style, formed of a rich interlacing of volutes, acanthus leaves, and plant motifs.
