Important “Artois” tableware set in Limoges porcelain – Bernardaud
Limoges porcelain dinner service by Bernardaud, “Artois” model, based on a design from the Count of Artois’s porcelain manufactory from the late 18th century.
Set against a white porcelain background, the design combines leafy garlands with bouquets of roses and blue flowers, arranged along the rims and in the center of the pieces.
The scalloped borders feature a grid-patterned relief design and are accented with a gold line. The same design appears on the various shaped pieces, notably the soup tureen, whose handles and knobs are accented with gold.

Each piece bears on the Bernardaud mark on the reverse, along with the model designation “Artois – Décor de la Manufacture du Comte d’Artois – Late 18th Century.”
