This elegant, deep black lacquered natsume captures the beauty of hydrangeas through a refined combination of gold maki-e lacquer and raden, mother-of-pearl inlays.
On the lid, the iridescent flowers shimmer in shades of blue, green, and purple against a black background enhanced by delicately shimmering nashiji, beautifully contrasted by the golden leaves and branches in maki-e lacquer.
