Entirely made of carved, lacquered, gilded and painted wood, the mirror displays an elegant rococo profile, crowned by a pierced rocaille cresting enriched with scrolls and cartouches. The frame bears a painted decoration of floral motifs on a green ground, in keeping with the ornamental taste typical of eighteenth century Venetian production. The piece reflects the refined balance between carving and polychromy characteristic of Venetian furnishings of the period.

Condition report: Good state of preservation. Some old repairs are present. The mirror glass is coeval with the frame.
