Large rectangular polychrome earthenware plaque depicting the CRUCIFIXION in bas-relief.
Dimensions: 44 x 37 cm.
CHOISY-LE-ROI, late 18th century or early 19th century.

Restoration in the central section and a chip on the reverse along the edge, visible in the photographs.
An identical pipe clay version of this model was produced by the potters of CHOISY-LE-ROI in the early 19th century; available for sale in this gallery.
