Illustrated Persian manuscript folio, Iran, Qajar period, 19th century, executed in gouache, opaque pigments, and ink on paper.
The front side features a large, full-page miniature depicting a dignitary seated within an elaborate Persian architectural setting. Several attendants and visitors stand before him, including a figure presenting an object or a vessel. The composition features geometric panels, floral decoration, architectural elements reminiscent of tiled surfaces, and a vast arched interior.
The Arabic text on the reverse is identified in the draft record as a passage from Shaykh al-Ṣadūq’s *Thawāb al-Aʿmāl*, a Twelver Shi’ite compendium devoted to the spiritual rewards of deeds. The text is written in a fluid Arabic naskh script, with headings in red.
