Description: A magnificent and very complete hand-painted glazed earthenware asparagus set from the famous Faïencerie d'Art d'Angoulême - “Le Renoleau” signature under the drainer piece
Refined decoration featuring birds, floral garlands, and trompe-l’œil asparagus motifs in relief along the rims of the pieces.
The set includes 13 pieces in total:
11 molded asparagus plates with a recess for the stalks
large oval serving platter edged with raised asparagus motifs
a freestanding asparagus drainer with perforations
Very good overall condition; colors and glaze are very glossy
Plate diameter: approx. 24 cm
Serving dish: approx. 38 x 28 cm
