Beautifulholy water font made of sea foam, carved in high relief with richRenaissance decoration, mounted on a wooden panel. Probablyan Italian work from the early 19th century. Bears a Latin inscription inthe cartouche above the shell that holds the holy water,“Venite ad meomnes qui amatis me” (Cometo me, all of you who love me). Traces of previous restoration.Dents and missing pieces; sold as is.
