Louis XVI-style Mirrored Cabinet – Mahogany And Gilded Bronze – 19th Century
Elegant Louis XVI-style dressing table, crafted from mahogany, featuring a simple and refined design inspired by neoclassical furniture.
The front opens with two large doors entirely covered with mirrors, framed by fluted stiles.
These stiles are embellished with beautiful gilded bronze ornaments, notably motifs of drapery and trimmings.
The upper section is particularly decorative, featuring a frieze of intertwined garlands in gilded bronze, centered around a medallion.
The posts are topped with fluted bronze finials, while the lower section rests on elegant tapered legs, also accented with bronze rings and bases.
Beautifully crafted cabinetry and slender proportions.
The two large mirrors lend the piece a striking presence and also allow it to be used as a bedroom cabinet, walk-in closet, or entryway cabinet.
The paneled back and construction details are visible in the photographs.
