An exceptional carved tea scoop depicting a dormouse with horn-inlaid eyes and detailed fur, nibbling on the seeds of a split pomegranate.

On the concave side, a mother-of-pearl inlay in the Shibayama technique depicts a peony branch and a butterfly.
