Félix Planquette, born in Arras on April 23, 1873, and died in Paris on March 12, 1964, was a French landscape and animal painter.
His works are found all over the world, particularly in the United States.
A renowned and prolific painter, he exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he won awards in 1900 and 1902 and received the Rosa-Bonheur Prize in 1912.

In the Manche region, which he explored from the Bay of Mont-Michel to the cliffs of La Hague, this talented painter produced realistic and colorful works.
La Hague is a region located in the Manche department in Normandy, more specifically in the Cotentin. It is known for its spectacular landscapes shaped by the sea. Just as Jean François Millet, a native of the region, depicted the famous northern cliffs of the Cotentin, La Hague is brimming with some of the most beautiful natural areas in the Cotentin.
