Crafted from welded steel using recycled mechanical parts, this kinetic sculpture combines wheels, pulleys, counterweights, springs, and yellow-lacquered spheres in an ethereal composition where each element contributes to the movement of the whole. Operated by a crank, it employs an ingenious transmission system that successively sets the various mechanisms in motion.Its formal language is rooted in the tradition of Swiss kinetic art that developed during the second half of the 20th century, when movement became a true creative medium.
