Cansado sideboard with an ash veneer body, featuring two sliding doors covered in black-and-white laminate and four wooden drawers, all resting on a black-lacquered metal base. Cansado is a mining town built in the 1960s by the Mauritanian Iron Mining Company (MIFERMA) to house its staff. Some of the furniture was designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1959 and 1967.
