An interesting and beautiful vintage vermeil sewing set from the Napoleon III period, circa 1870–80.
It comes complete with its accessories, which are delicately guilloché with a fine design of scrolls and foliage, some in relief and others not... housed in a shaped case made of polychrome wood imitating marble. All parts are original and complete from the Napoleon III era.
