19th-century fan. Stunning panel made of leather painted in gouache depicting a couple and putti in the castle grounds. This beautiful painting is signed “Marie LB” on the right side of the panel. The frame is made of mother-of-pearl. The initials of its owner, “AS,” are engraved in mother-of-pearl on the fan head.
The fan measures 10,63 inches when closed and 20,47 inches in diameter when open. It features a ring and tassel. There is some slight wear on the panel, visible in the photos, but overall it remains in good condition.
