A magnificent, large dining table made of cherry wood with a slightly oval shape.
Dated to the 18th century; from the Directoire period, a fine example of French cabinetmaking circa 1795.
It rests on 8 spindle legs, which are topped with brass caps and finished with bronze feet and casters.
This extendable table can accommodate up to 4 extensions, bringing its total length to approximately 5.5 meters !
The original extensions are missing.
The table is in good untouched condition (unrestored).
Very rare table to find !
