Important 19th century astronomical telescope. Fixed optical tube, made of brass, with magnification adjustment via a rack-and-pinion mechanism and focusing via a telescopic tube eyepiece. This astronomical telescope is paired with a sighting device or finder also made of brass with two telescopic tubes. The objective and eyepiece lenses are present. The telescope is offered with a large display tripod, height-adjustable and swiveling (dating from the 1960s). Signs of wear and oxidation. In good working condition with an inverted image in the objective lens.
