Early portrait of Princess Ginevra d'Este, oil on canvas. A profile portrait of the young princess, of excellent quality and in very good condition. This work, typical of the Italian Renaissance, is a similar version of another portrait by Pisnaello housed at the Louvre. Ginevra died at the age of 21; her husband, Pandolfo, was accused of her murder by Pope Pius II. Presented in a gilded Renaissance-style frame.
