Thomas Dawson (1811-1889) was a collector of Napoleonic objects. He donated his extensive collection to the Morrab Library in Penzance, Cornwall, in 1868. The collection is still housed in this library, and each volume bears the Dawson family coat of arms.
Provenance: Acquired during a move to Suffolk.
