Olive-shaped pommel with a riveted knob.
Brown horn tang, filigree-worked with copper wire.
Guard with iron breastplate and pommel.
Movable crossguard, monogrammed with interlaced “P” and “L.”
Blade with a central ridge, engraved “Coulaux Klingenthal France.”
Red felt strap.
Steel sheet scabbard, lyre-shaped tip, ring for the belt loop.
Hallmarks.
Pommel and tang not attached to the blade.
