Little Sparrows Nesting Together, A Viennese Animal-themed Bronze Sculpture Circa 1900.

Reproduced in J. Zobel’s book *AntiqueVienna Bronzes*, page 13 (photo), this lovely piece depicting sparrows nestled on a branch with new buds, measuring 16 cm x 10 cm x 4.5 cm, weight: 0.3 kg, was—for some unknown reason—left unpainted by the colorist, allowing us to appreciate the delicacy of plumage and adorable faces of these two little birds.
Good condition, minimal wear, no defects.
The piece is marked “6” and a star?.
