Statue depicting a standing female figure with her arms at her sides and her hands resting on her upper abdomen. The navel and genitals are visible. The legs, which are particularly long, give the figure a slender appearance. They are slightly bent.
These effigies, kept within the home, are called “bateba” and were associated with a domestic cult.
