Pair Of Smooth Porcelain Leopards XXth In The Hollywood Regency Style

An elegant pair of animal figurines depicting leopards, crafted from hand-painted porcelain. One is depicted in a sitting position, the other lying down.

These pieces are from the Wong Lee factory in Hong Kong. They bear the famous “WL” monogram mark and the commemorative date “1895” on the base, which marks the end of the Sino-Japanese War and not the year of manufacture, as the factory was active in the late 20th century, around 1990.

Superbly crafted, these figurines are distinguished by the meticulous rendering of the speckled fur on white porcelain with a perfectly smooth, translucent, and glossy glaze in the Hollywood Regency style.

Condition: In perfect condition. No chips, cracks, or restorations.
