19th Century Bronze Chandelier Centered On A Sculpture Of The God Mercury

Important bronze and gilt bronze chandelier with three hangers in the upper part in the form of knotted drapes and decorated with grapes, centered on a sculpture representing the god Mercury in bronze with black patina.

In the lower part and starting from three mascarons, six arms of light decorated with foliage and grapes ending in a twist topped with a crystal or blue glass cup with a false candle in the center.

Recent electrification and equipped with candle flame type bulbs (identical to those used during the renovation of the light fixtures of the Palace of Versailles), supports compatible with classic bulbs.
