Large, Tall Goblet Engraved With Stylized Roses By Daum, Art Deco Era, Galle, 1925
Artist: Daum
A beautiful and original large stemmed bowl with roses by Daum.
In the purest Art Deco style, this beautiful large stemmed bowl features a wide frieze of roses and foliage, entirely etched on a marbled background. This original, highly geometric shape—so characteristic of the 1920s—creates a beautiful play of light. Note also the lovely bluish-gray color.
In perfect condition, 30 cm in diameter and 14 cm in height, signed on the base “Daum,” “Lorraine Cross,” “Nancy, France”; a well-documented model, circa 1925–1930.
A very pretty, ultra-modern centerpiece that complements both modern and traditional interiors.
