This charming ribbed moulded‑crystal ensemble reflects the taste for “drapery” ornaments and illusionistic passementerie mounts in gilt bronze that was highly fashionable under the Second Empire and in the late 19th century. All three pieces feature a twisted gilt‑metal frieze punctuated with delicately pierced tassel finials, a refined signature of dressing‑table accessories of this period and of Baccarat’s luxury crystal production.
