A very beautiful and large oil on canvas depicting a panoramic view of the Landes region, titled on the reverse Lagunes dans la Lande and signed lower left by the artist H. M. RATON.
The work perfectly captures the light and peaceful atmosphere of the Landes de Gascogne, with its maritime pines bordering a lagoon with subtle reflections. It features a beautiful post-Impressionist style with a generous application of paint and a balanced, natural color palette.
The work is presented in its original gilded, molded wooden frame, enhanced with a fabric Marie-Louise mat.
