Silver Pepper Mill, Late 19th–early 20th Century
A small solid silver pepper mill with curved lines in the Louis XV style, resting on four scroll-shaped feet. The finely chased decoration consists of foliage, palm leaves, and floral motifs.

“BREVETÉS S.G.D.G.”, standing for “Patented Without Government Guarantee”
“DÉPOSÉ”
Founded in 1810, Peugeot Frères began as a steel foundry, producing blades, springs, and other tools for various uses. By the mid-19th century, it was producing tableware, primarily coffee and pepper mills, featuring high-precision mechanisms. Numerous models were created over the decades, alongside Peugeot’s famous automotive business.
