Crafted from solid walnut, it features a rhythmic sequence of turned columns interspersed with capitals carved with floral motifs.
At the ends, the posts are embellished with full-relief carved figures, featuring stylized faces and bodies that evoke anthropomorphic elements.
The wide, molded top rail lends the piece solidity and serves a structural as well as an aesthetic function.
The final 40 cm culminate in a flag-shaped section, creating a hinged section of the balustrade designed to be folded down when necessary.
