An elegant crystal champagne cooler for flutes, crafted by Cristallerie de Lorraine.

Displaying remarkable craftsmanship, this piece features an elegant egg-shaped design in cobalt-blue-lined crystal, entirely hand-cut. Its design, featuring large palmette motifs, diamond points, and deep facets, reveals the full richness of the crystal and creates a magnificent play of light.

The champagne cooler is equipped with its original metal tray, specially designed to hold champagne glasses or flutes, while the ice placed in the basin keeps them perfectly chilled.

It rests on a square pedestal made of solid crystal. The original label—“Cristal 24% PbO – mouth-blown – hand-cut”—is still present beneath the base, accompanied by the manufacturer’s engraved signature.

This piece is numbered 450/500, indicating a limited edition of only 500 pieces, which enhances its appeal to collectors.

In very good condition.

Both refined and rare, this champagne cooler exemplifies the craftsmanship of the Lorraine crystal manufacturers and is a remarkable piece of tableware from the 1970s–1980s.
