This is a luxurious Louis XVI-style piece from the 1900s featuring Venetian-ribbed crystal, an Etruscan-style decoration of antique helmets and swords rendered in polychrome enamel, and accented with fine gold fillets.
An antique piece not bearing the crystal manufacturer’s signature; the model is featured in the 1907 tableware catalog: it is the 6184 set with Venetian fluting and Bohemian-style goblets.
A rare, complete collector’s set; the crystal is in perfect condition. No chips, crystal is clear, and the gilding is very fresh. Superb.
