Large French Neoclassical Wrought Iron Console Table With Marble Top Ca. 1900
A large Louis XVI-style console with a thick moulded Marbre Vert d'Estours top. The wrought iron base features several parcel-gilt decorative elements.
The left and right sides of the base are composed of rectangular pedestal supports, each centred with a decorative flower basket. The front legs are formed as C-scrolls that rise upward and project forward, each holding a circular ring beneath the frieze, which supports the marble top.
