An iconic photograph by Jean-Pierre Dutilleux depicting two Kayapo men wearing their large lip plates (botoques), feather headdresses, and traditional adornments.

A longtime companion of Chief Raoni Metuktire for over half a century, Jean-Pierre Dutilleux has devoted a large part of his work to the defense and promotion of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon. This image is now one of the most representative of his photographic work.

The copy offered here is signed by the artist and numbered 30 in the 1-2017 series, certifying that it is a print identified by the photographer.

This photograph was published as a full-page spread in *Aladin Antiquités* (August 2026), on the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to Jean-Pierre Dutilleux, where it appears among the major works reproduced.
