Both plates are signed at the bottom center: J.C. VAN HUNNIKC.
Van Hunnik is a Dutch artist and painter born in Rotterdam in1925.
He is best known for his nostalgic drawings and watercolors oftypically Dutch landscapes.
He has diversified his talents, particularly in the field of ceramics, whether in tableware orwall decorations. He has also illustrated children’s books.
