This soup bowl, known as a “postpartum bowl,” comes with a matching saucer and features a ribbed, pod-shaped body with raised ribs, two side handles in a scroll design, and a domed lid topped with a fluted, shell-shaped handle. The hand-painted decoration combines purple rocailles with scrolls, polychrome flower baskets (roses, cornflowers), and small scattered bouquets. The oval saucer features the same decorative motifs along the rim and in the center.
