Giancarlo BARGONI (1932–
Italian painter born in Genova in 1932, trained in Italy on various techniques and materials, including glass and mosaics, his work constantly explores the relationship between color and light.
In 1996, during an exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal, he discovered new expressions of the color blue, which he reflected in a series of paintings called 'Obidos', exhibited that same year at the 'Protée' gallery in Paris, where this work was acquired.
