Ricardo Scarpa (1905-1999)
Draughtsman, sculptor and medallist born in Venice, he studied at the Académie of Beaux Arts of Venise, moving to Paris in 1928, where he lived until his death. A member of the Société des Artistes Français since 1974, he was awarded the gold medal for his body of work.
Sculpture is his main activity, and he expresses himself in marble, wood, metal and bronze, as well as in terracotta and ceramics.
