Carved Fir Cabinet – 19th Century

Elegant cabinet made of solid fir, featuring two molded and carved doors adorned with dynamic panels and scrollwork in the Louis XV style. The scalloped cornice (gendarme’s cap) is adorned with a central medallion, which is also repeated on the lower section, lending the piece a beautiful sense of harmony.

The wood has a warm honey-colored patina that highlights the pine’s grain. The doors are fitted with their original long, openwork brass hinges. The slightly rounded side panels and arched legs highlight the quality of its design.

The interior, meticulously finished and varnished, consists of hanging compartments.
