Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory: 18th-century "litron" Coffee Cup—polychrome And Gold Decoration

A beautiful one-litre Sèvres porcelain cup with a rich floral design on a dark blue background, accented with gold. The saucer is older and features a rich design of bouquets of flowers in cartouches accented with gold. The cup is adorned with a floral frieze and gold fillets, and features a background in the same shade of blue as the cup. This is a pairing of two matching pieces that complement each other beautifully. Both pieces bear signatures from the Sèvres Manufactory: a date letter and double “L” for the saucer, and a signature from the Revolutionary period for the cup.

A beautiful set for everyday enjoyment or as a display piece.

Very good overall condition; the saucer is in perfect condition, while the cup shows slight wear on the gold and a small chip on the rim.
